Those images crack me up (duck quacks, whoopee cushions). My wife’s phone has a duck quack ringer (University of Oregon fan). I can imagine that amped up 10X or more. Just think what city life will be like with thousands of cars making such sounds at 100 dB.

Our neighbor across the street has only bought Tesla cars the past 15 years. He bought the original Gen 1 Tesla roadster when it came out and still has it. His newer Tesla sedans all make spaceship landing noises when he backs out of the garage. I still find it incredibly annoying every time I hear it.

We used to tie balloons to the forks of our bikes to get the Harley sound effect WHEN I WAS 9 YEARS OLD.

There’s even a fake hood scoop. I cant see anyone buying this. You certainly can’t road trip in a car like this.

I’ve always had a problem with fake features on cars.

I always hated the fake spare tire well on the backs of American luxury cars (Lincolns, Caddies, Chrylser Fifth Avenue).

I tolerate the fake port holes on some Buicks, as they have done it for so long, it is part of the history. Same with the Mustang fake side vents.

I can see the need for some sound effects....Mall parking areas, truck stops, pedestrian areas would be safer for those on foot.

But a bicycle bell would be more in character with a glorified golf cart.
