If it's your cup of tea, I highly recommend Heiser's "Unseen Realm." As someone who's been to seminary, you might the reviews of it interesting. Its target readers are academics and seminary grads like yourself.

Personally I have found Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis and This present Darkness by Frank E. Peretti helpful in creating a framework for how such influences operate.

My personal belief is, short of a full possession where demons indwell an individual, demons attach to people who have opened themselves up to their influences, much like a literal invisible monkey riding on your back.

Not only should we not support them, given that the locations they’ll be separated from grow all the food, raise the cattle, mine the coal, pull the oil out of the ground and refine it, I’m thinking that whatever the going price is for folks like you and me, the Liberals pay quadruple, at least.

Let them build all the rooftop solar panels/windmills and turn every factory into one of those urban, indoor farms. I’m sure they’ll do great.
