I used to have a program from the 90’s called Algo Music for the Amiga computer line. Used to generate random tunes. I have also used a story plot generator (on my cell phone, no less)recently for the heck of it.
Certainly couldn’t play Hey Little Girl nowadays. Too much dismissive toxic masculinity. Shouldn’t write off a snotty manipulative chick like the songs vocalist does! The girl needed understanding and emotional support...(semi-sarc)
Very simple song and doesn’t display much insight into male female interrelationships in a bewildering world.

One song that I certainly remember from the summer of '66 was The Great Airplane Strike by Paul Revere & the Raiders, which was inspired by the disruption caused when the machinists' union struck several major airlines at the height of the summer flying season. I got caught up in that chaos as I traveled from Germany to Los Angeles.

Gordon Lightfoot had a different take on his self written song, “Does Your Mother Know?”

RE: I have been enjoying your music related posts.

Me, too, Fester. Thanks.
If I may move to a first name FRiendship.

Just read Syndicate of sound had one album, tried to sell another t Capitol and then disbanded. Too bad.

There’s a book of groups that had one hit single:

One-Hit Wonders: An Oblique History of Popular Music
by Sarah Hill (Editor)

Recently watched “The Wrecking Crew” on Amazon Prime - interesting info on the Rock ‘N Roll revolution and who really played the music for the record cuts...

Thanks for the Tina Delgado song, besides the Leaves, I like the standells, love, and the doors.

My next post will be a KHJ trivia question.
