Sometimes I think the fashion industry is partly to blame because skimpy clothes require less fabric and less labor for tailoring. If you were trying to make money, would you make tank tops or golf shirts with set in sleeves, buttons and collars?

Proctologists deal with the last portion of the digestive system — colon, rectum, anus. So while both men and women may require the particular services of a proctologist, girls and boys probably wouldn’t — barring some sort of birth defect or freak injury.
Girls have gastrointestinal tracts, therefore they could potentially be in need of a proctologist.
Who is buying these girls clothes?
I simply don’t believe that they are dressing themselves.
I helped raise 2 girls. They never dressed like a slut. It never came up.
I don’t get it. Well I get it. Mom’s a whore so little Buffy wants to be a whore too.
Or Mom is a wanna be whore...my brother’s wife (very obese) bought her 13 yr old daughter a pair of pants with “juicy” on them...niece told me she did not really like them when she stayed with us ...so we threw them out. (This was about 20 yrs ago)
If it's good to encourage girls to dress like sluts, and also if it's sexual assault when boys even look at girls ... you might be a Democrat.
Males & females are wired differently.
Females are tactile, in other words, sexually stimulated by touch. That’s why women need foreplay to become aroused.
Men are visually stimulated. They’re aroused by what they see.
This is why girls need to cover up & parents need to teach their daughters to be modest.
It’s also why transgender “women” (men) don’t belong in women’s restrooms & locker rooms, and why we never hear about transgender “men” (women) demanding access to men’s restrooms & locker rooms.

I remember the mini and micro skirts in the 1960s. Also a report on the number of rapes increasing at that time.
Sounds as if someone took the sexual message the girls were sending too serious.
Girls can get attention and validation on social media these days. No need for in person contact.
Years ago, the secretary at work was called to her daughter’s school. Her daughter had gone to a friend’s house and changed clothes before going to school (junior high, I think) She told the boss “I have to go to the school. My daughter’s dressed like a whore.”
It would be much better with lots of pictures. A dirty old man would say.
I googled it and got shorts with a picture of a dog.
