My father and JFK were in the same class (Class of ‘40) and were friends throughout college and after, but were on opposite ends politically. They lost contact when dad moved the family to the Midwest but received a nice invitation to his funeral from Jackie. His response when I asked if he was going was “Hell no.” He actually wasn’t a big fan of his and, yes, he was definitely a womanizer.
Worked with someone who worked as a housekeeper at the Kennedy estate in Mass when “John John” was in his late teens or so.
She said he called her into the bathroom where he was taking a bath and instructed her to preform oral sex on him.
She just laughed at him, but she said he had the attitude it was perfectly normal for him to make that request.

More precisely, he died because he was stupid and arrogant. He was a novice pilot, flying at night under hazy conditions, without an instrument rating (meaning he was only qualified to fly in clear daylight). His arrogance also killed his wife and sister-in-law.
