That's probably about right ... the big leZenski declared he had to have a weekly stipend of $5 billion US taxpayer money about a year ago, or else start sending our sons & daughters to defend Our Democracy™ for 0'Biδen.

Agreed. We don’t see how many resources are being devoted to the war in Ukraine across all government agencies. We will be running a $2 trillion budget deficit this calendar year. There is no sane reason why we are spending so much money on Ukraine.

Zelensky estimates it will take $800 billion to rebuild the country, which was one of the poorest countries in Europe before the war. Ukraine’s per capita GDP was $14,300, a mere $100 more than Cuba’s.

That is a mystery to me. They have vast agricultural and mineral wealth, used to have a large industrial base, and a population close to Canada’s. They should be in the G7, not one of the poorest in Europe.
