DeSantis sounds very well prepared, almost as if he receiveed the questions ahead of time and had a chance to memorize a pre-scripted response. But he’s a good actor, I’ll give him that. Let’s see how he does when he’s given some less friendly questioning and not these softball questions.

DeSantis would have been better off letting Trump have the 2024 nomination, finishing his gov term, making a deal with Trump for a senior cabinet post in exchange for support, and then running in 2028 with full MAGA backing.
