I believe he had plenty of resources to accomplish the job. He’s had as good private security for many, many years. I think he took greater care who he hired for the janitor positions at Trump Tower than he did in hiring an AG.
You know it hurts a little to say this but I’m convinced he is not a great judge of character. That doesn’t mean I would not vote for him because I would. His sharpest attributes are with money and his willingness to help others who need assistance. He knows a tremendous amount about organization and motivation too. I guess it sort of hurts to see those who called him friend turn on him.

Oh poop. You can support a candidate and still criticize his failings. Trump failed terribly in his appointments.
Man, that cannot be overemphasized. A lot of us kept hoping against that Trump would get rid of just half the people who stabbed him in the back. What I have come to surmise is that once Trump appointed someone, or was about to appoint, the Deep State sprang into full Jeffrey Epstein mode to compromise them on behalf of the establishment.
So many people turned on Trump it almost defies the laws of the natural universe. There simply must have been a force at work. But yeah, if Trump gets back in absolutely NO mercy, I don’t care what McConnell or anyone else advises. We’ll see if that lesson has been learned.
