I live in Phoenix. One thing I really like about this city is the great number of places that make their own sausage.
I lead with Tony’s Italian Delicatessan, in Sunnyslope for 50 years. You could plop this place in Little Italy, NY, and it would fit right in, from the narrow aisles, to the 20 different kinds of Olive Oil sold in 2 gallon jugs, to cannollis. Despite the high quality, prices are reasonable for their subs. Of course they make their own (excellent) sausages.
Father west we have Romanelli’s, at 35th Ave and Dunlap. They do a humming business, especially during lunch, and they also make their own sausages. The lasagna is very, very good.
Cassella’s in Scottsdale is extremely homey. Larry Fitzgerald is known to frequent the place and buy Italian food for everyone when the mood strikes him. Reasonably priced for Scottsdale. Homemade almost everything. Sausages are great, but don’t overlook the meatballs. Cash only.
DeFalco’s Italian Deli does a bustling business, which is well earned due to their well-earned reputation, which of course includes sausage.
The story doesn’t end with Italian sausage. For my birthday, I helped myself to some German Paprika Sausage from the German Sausage Company, where they sell both homemade and imported sausages. Slice these up, combine with Muenster cheese and Dusseldorf mustard on the cracker of your choice, and you have a great snack for any occasion.
Schriner’s Sausage on 7th Street looks every one of its 60 years old. I have not had the opportunity to try it, but it sounds great! From the web site:
We offer homemade sausages, as well as a variety of homemade lunch meats, slab bacon, hickory-smoked hams and more.
We have family recipes that were brought over from Germany. Check out our regional favorites from Portugal, Spain, England, Poland, Mexico and South Africa.
At Schreiner’s Fine Sausage we offer low-fat chicken and turkey products available in a variety of flavors.

We feature everything from the usual Bratwurst, Italian and Polish offerings to the hard-to-find items such as:
Andouille, Boudin & Tasso (Cajun French)
Linguisa (Portuguese)
Bangers (English)
Chorico (Spanish)
Chorizo (Mexican)
Boerewors (South Africa)
I have been in Phoenix for almost five years, and I feel like I have only touched the surface of sausage offerings, and I am not even including the numerous solid hot dog joints in the city, nor the exotic (to me) ethnic oriented places that might well have fine sausages (e.g. Sarajevo).
>> If beans is what you want, just eat beans and call it beans.
Exactly.

Hippies were the first wave gullible idiots who could be counted on to jumble their prefrontal cortex with chemicals.
This is the main body.
If vegans are so opposed to meat, WHY do they want to eat so much stuff that tastes so much like it?
It’s not sausage.
Vegan Sausage is an oxymoron.
“Vegan Sausage Fest, eh? I’m not going near the topic. The jokes are just too easy.”
Just remember, “eat” is a euphemism.
That sounds obscene. Have the authorities been notified?
And they must tell you about it.
How would they know what to season it like if they didnt shape it like MEAT?
LOL!
By no imaginable definition can this be called sausage.
They could shape it like chicken nuggets and call it chicken nuggets.
They could shape it like an apple pie and call it apple pie.
Que the backroom photo of the McDonalds mystery food machine. This is what they feed thru it to make everything on the menu.
Like putting a dress on a man and calling him a "woman".
That doesn’t sound bad. It also doesn’t sound like sausage.
Do they have vegan pig’s feet, yet?
Pickles pig’s feet was a particular favorite of my grandparents?
Rush covered this many years ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCjQ3SLh374
Where are the bugs?
LOL...and dogs could care less!
Methinks I’ll watch paint dry.
