I attend one mega church in Louisville, and another in Stuart, Florida.

The Stuart church allows only one entrance to the sanctuary, and of course lots of exits. They look over everybody. TBH I feel a little silly when I show up in my aloha shirt. I mean, they’ll never figure it out, right?

I’m surprised I’ve never been stopped. I guess it’s the aura around me.

In Louisville Ron Aguiar pioneered organized church security. The place is crawling with plainclothes cops, in suits and wearing earpieces. I feel silly when I wear aloha shirts there as well.

That’s to say, I don’t need to carry when I go to church. I thank God for that.
