Given the lack of damage to the Capital, and the police escort through the buildings I’d disagree with the Reichstag comparison as well. Could look to major Democrat cities for that, particularly where federal properties were attack. Particularly Portland where a section of the city seceded. That’s insurrection, not rioting.

Well, it resembles Reichstag in that it was a false flag operation designed to give the party just come to power a cart blanche to do whatever they want with their opposition.
