No. There will be one conference with two divisions. They will argue over whether to call it The BIG or the SEC. Unable to agree, they will compromise on The TBL, for The TVBucks League.

The way I see it, if everyone is gonna be Big 10, no one is gonna be Big 10. “Big 10” will become a euphemism. How often will they ever play each other in conference? Every 3-5 years?

After this season, there are no more divisions in the B1G. I expect the SEC to do the same in a few years. Also, the conference championship games though super profitable, end up hurting in the end. No real need for them in the new playoff format.
