I like him. But I think he was a US Soldier, not a Marine. A friend of mine knows him and has the highest respect for him. As far as what he brings to the ticket, he’s in Texas which is already solid.

Colin Powell comes to mind. I remember Colin Powell held up as the next magical conservative black person to get blacks to see the light. Condi Rice. Shelby Steele.

Harris proved that ANYBODY can handle the VP job.

IMO that is why I think she is being groomed for the top job
on down the road. Get Biden re-elected and he steps down at
some point midway thru the next term. Harris becomes President
and can be elected a couple times depending upon when it occurs

West a good man, but fair or not, he has established a long string of election failures. Similar to Laura Loomer, who also has much to offer the conservative wing of the Republican party. Hopefully, both can serve, but in positions of appointment vs election.

Yes Yes Yes but it should be made clear he will be the voice over the Joint Chiefs of Staffs. In effect he will run the military with Trumps blessings.
