A child prodigy of his community.
Johnny was bad, even as a child everybody could tell,

But Johnny didn’t care,
He was an outlaw by the time that he was ten years old,

His teachers didn’t understand,
They kicked him out of school at a tender early age,
Just because he didn’t want to learn things
He had other interests
He liked to burn things!
The lady down the block,
She had a radio that Johnny wanted oh so bad,
So he took it the first chance he had.
Then he shot her in the leg,
And this is what she said
“Only a lad. You really can’t blame him.”

His parents gave up, they couldn’t influence his attitude,

I would not doubt that for a minute. And he is going to get [shoot] some more. Pity it could not be some of those involved in turning him loose.

I’ve never thought I’d want a 6 year old euthanized before.
How cute...wouldn't want to stigmatize the little psychopath.

Little psychopaths like this used to be confined to mental institutions. Who knows if this kid can ever be rehabilitated. But it is certain that he has a defective brain which makes him unsuited for life outside a mental institution.
It’s a shame that we can no longer confine the mentally ill indefinitely. Even if he is institutionalized now, he will be released at age 18. And probably end up terrorizing and killing people, if his condition cannot be treated.
Just think of the environment this child has grown up in for him to have this type of mind-set. It’s obvious the child had no nurturing family, no bonding with loving parents, and no boundaries taught to him during those important first few formative years. His path in life is now set and it would take a miracle for him to be moved from that path.
What is so scary is that we have thousands of such children being set on that same path.

The kid must have been a holy terror because, at the age of 6, he was required to have a parent with him at all times while he was attending first grade! Iirc, the parents had begun slacking on this directive (no shock there) and he shot his teacher on a day neither parent was present. It really doesn’t sound like there is any redemptive hope for him, at least not before a lot of innocent people are killed or maimed before the miracle takes place.
Must make his parents proud
This kid will turn 21 not in prison, but in the ground, at the rate he’s going. And no, I don’t think putting his mother in jail will help things at all.
How big of a kid if this 6 year old to strangle a teacher?
