“Trump did not call for Russians to make concessions.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Well Trump went way further. He threatened Putin with the annihilation of Moscow in case Russia would invade Ukraine.

Trump was the toughest on Russia.

Trump’s threat to bomb Moscow

He also said it during a recent Hannity show.

Obama on the other hand... was just appeasing Putin by not helping Ukraine with large shipments of US weapons.

“Not my flag
Not my country
Not my problem”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

What you said might sound like good virtue signaling. I support the symbolism of it. However....

While what you said sounds heroic and romantic, it’s unfortunately not realistic to say “not my problem”. It IS your and my problem - wether we want it or not.

Here is an example of what I mean:
If you are on a cruse-ship and there is a severe fire in cabin 87, will you say : “Who cares, its not my cabin, not my problem - I’m in cabin 78”!
In reality, that fire is happening on a ship. Any problem caused on that ship is risking to affect EVERYONE onboard.

Earth is like a “ship” on which humanity is living. And every country of the planet is like a “cabin” on that ship. The invasion of Ukriane by Russia concerns a massive region of the planet containing all the natural resources Russia, America and many other countries are in desperate need of to sustain their every day lives...

Most of the components of your phone and car comes from abroad.
America is deeply dependent on imports from foreign countries.
There are a lot of rare earth minerals which simply don’t exist on US soil. Without them our industry would collapse.

Thus, we can’t afford to isolate us from civilization - we need it to survive.
In order to survive, countries are teaming up in blocks.

The Eastern block/alliance is : China, Russia, Belarus, North Korea, IRAN, Cuba, Venezuela. There is also the BRICS, which unite socialist-communist nations and a few non-aligned.

You see... all our enemies are organized in groups and blocks of nations, and support their allies to 100%!

So we should do the same right? If we want to survive like they do.

And we do : America is working closely with Europe and vice-versa.
TOGETHER we are able to constitute a Western defensive block.
It’s just fairness.

“I am of the opinion that it is too early to focus on taking ground. The focus should be destruction of military equipment, supplies and supply lines, and killing soldiers. These are strategic goals that are necessary to win the war. Ground gains are tactical goals that are helpful in winning battles.”

I think your strategy is good. I do understand the position to focus on military equipment, supplies and supply lines.

“Being utterly convinced that the zero evidence vranyo (deliberate lies) from Russia and the DPR is definitely true but no amount of crowdsourced evidence from thousands of sources on the ground, by dozens of international journalist teams, investigative reporters, NGOs etc can be trusted, is moronic.”

Thanks. Total agreement.

“The Russian is Asiatic, with no regard for human life, barbarian and chronic drunk” General George S. Patton, well known FR “Ukrainian contingent” member.

So one man's comment in 1945 defines reality in 2023 for you?

Patton's remark in 1945, that Russians are Asian and therefore drunkards etc., seems to be all the instruction you've had on Russians. Allow me to bring you up to speed.

In 1945, Patton was referring to the broken citizens of the Soviet Union, a cruel system in which defeated persons who could not aspire to happiness often drank and smoked, if they could afford it, to relieve their misery.

In 2010, a hairdresser now living in the US, who was originally a psychologist in the former USSR, said that looking back, she can't believe that she used to wake up in the morning and start the day by drinking vodka, and continue to imbibe as needed throughout the day, just to face life in the USSR. It wasn't the presence or lack of indoor plumbing that caused this despair, it was the Politburo and it's capacity to drain life out of every moment of living.

Those advocating for the Ukraine on FR continue to portray modern day Russia as the USSR of 1945, at least they do so when they are not trying to paint Putin as Hitler. Things have changed in the past 70+ years and the fact that you need to reference the failed USSR to try to substantiate your world view exposes the ethnic hatred that often underlies pro Ukrainian posts on FR. I've read a pro Uk post that insisted that Russians were pigs and should be shot; I would have thought only Hitler signed on to that type of ethnic cleansing.

I’m advocating for America and American interests on FR. I have no interesting in Making Russia Great Again. Let’s just be honest and admit that’s not always the case.

I’ve been to and seen “modern day” Russia. It is a totalitarian police state and not something American conservatives should aspire to in the least.

What a silly attempt at distorting my post! I said nothing in support of Russia or that anyone should 'Make Russia Great Again,' or that America should aspire to be Russia. But, you knew that and implying the opposite of  what I said was intentional on your part.

I stated a fact - you people continue to point to the USSR instead of Putin because you need to apply our natural revulvion to the USSR to the current conflict in the Ukraine to keep our  money flowing to that endless crater for redistribution to the Deep State, and to get WWIII going.
