Today’s shelling of the Kherson region “illustrates Russia’s complete contempt for all principles of international humanitarian law, which it grossly and repeatedly violates.”
This is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, cited by European Truth, Censor.NET reports.
“France strongly condemns the new Russian attacks that were inflicted on the Kherson region in the south of Ukraine today,” the statement said.
“These new attacks on the civilian population once again illustrate Russia’s complete disregard for all the principles of international humanitarian law, which it grossly and repeatedly violates,” the French Foreign Ministry emphasized.

The agency emphasized that these unacceptable actions are war crimes and cannot go unpunished.
In close coordination with its partners, France will continue to provide military support to Ukraine to strengthen its air defense capacity, as well as support to Ukrainian courts and the International Criminal Court to fight impunity for such crimes, the French Foreign Ministry said.

InformNapalm, an international intelligence community, says that the Russians have lied that the inspection of the Sukru Okan cargo ship in the Black Sea was successful, and that warning shots were fired.

BACKGROUND:
The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that in the small hours of 13 August, a Russian ship opened “warning” fire on the Sukru Okan, a bulk carrier which was heading for the port of Izmail in Odesa Oblast, Ukraine, under the flag of Palau.
After the carrier supposedly did not respond to the so-called demands to stop for inspection for the transportation of prohibited goods, the occupiers opened supposedly “warning” fire and also took off a Ka-29 combat helicopter with a group of soldiers.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian military boarded the vessel and conducted a so-called “inspection”, after which the Sukru Okan continued its journey to Izmail.
“… Rather than asking when the Ukrainian offensive will produce this or that result, we urge partners to ask what else can be done to assist Ukraine’s defense forces in carrying out their missions…”

My understanding of history is that Ukraine’s Nazi forefathers of WWII Germany did exactly that when they knew the end was near. When the party was over, many escaped with their loot to another country. I expect the Uke leaders will do the same. As with the end of any evil regime, the people left behind will suffer and have to rebuild their country.

War is an inherently human business. Much of it takes place in the mind. Shatter your enemy’s will to fight and the physical bit becomes a lot easier.
Most soldiers accept the hurly burly of the battlefield. They understand the risks and have reconciled themselves to the possibility of death or injury by bullets, artillery and such like with grim pragmatism. But unseen killers - chemical weapons, booby traps, weapons that don’t play by the Queensberry rules of warfare - these eat away at a soldier’s psychological strength.
Loitering munitions in the air or at sea fit into this category of weapon. They’re deadly, but pretty cheap and basic, so easy to produce in large numbers, and able to attack psychological defenses just as much as physical ones.
Its because some are Russians, others are taking money from Russia (like a lot of the worlds enviro activists), or have been driven insane by US politics.
