All of our gerontocracy has got to put aside their desire for power and their old grudges and get out of the way.

Look to California 25-30 years ago for what’s playing out at the national level and where the country is headed. It’s not good.
Trump infiltrated the Co Owned Swamp by infiltrating the Swamp R team..
And exposed the royalty of that team like the Bushes,Cheney’s, McCain’s, Romney’s as scum families that deserve to lose as much as the D team scum does..
During the Roman ages, the people could vote themselves dictators. Some of them did rule benevolent and stamp out corruption, but our Founders knew that not every man is virtuous. We don’t need a dictator or a king, but we need a resounding “No” aimed right at DC in this next election.

Reagan was the last Republican. Since then we’ve just had Democrats who call themselves Republican.
And to think…it wasn’t that long ago that Trump was a democrat.

I just wish he and his incompetent band of backstabbers and family grifters realized what some of us realized in 2016.
Trump was very ineffective in the long term, or otherwise they wouldn’t be prosecuting him today. He was weak, he ended up by handing over his presidency to Fauci (Trump was a notorious germaphobe, which I think was one of the causes).
The only things he got through were executive orders reversing Obama’s executive orders, since Trump couldn’t work well enough with Congress to get laws passed.
I totally agree that he was the one who called attention to and put a name to our problem (the administrative state) but he didn’t realize that it wasn’t his TV show, a situation where he needed to get other people on board.

I’m sorry to see Wayne Allyn Root get hysterical. Whatever happens to the White House in 2024, Republicans will probably control the Senate and possibly also the House. Life will go on.
I don't understand the logic. If he were ineffective they would want him in office and would promote him and leave him alone. The fact that they're doing everything in their power to remove him from the political stage must mean something.

The Swamp is what it is. It’s sort of startling to see people on FR who are NOT part of the Swamp wanting to see it perpetuated rather than challenged.
But regardless of all . . . it’s generally best to remember Geology doesn’t care about ideology or politics.
When oil gets scarce, everything falls apart. Other things will be blamed, but no one who is starving because trucks didn’t bring food to shelves will care about blame.
We are heading towards a situation where we don’t even have a chance to have a November ‘24 general election! There’s, already, discussions of WWIII happening before the November ‘24 general election! What if The Left creates other ways of preventing the November ‘24 general election from happening? Also, what if Donald Trump ends up dying, before the November ‘24 general election happens, whether it’s by, either, assassination, or a natural death?
