Pump shotgun
Semi-automatic rifle - AR-15 or AR-10 (I’m a 30 cal guy myself)
Handgun.. Semi or revolver. I’m a wheel gun guy. Ruger GP-100 rules
The premise of this is so unfair. No one should be allowed to have three firearms when criminals often don’t have time to steal but one. Having three guns also invites mounting a disproportionate response when you are attacked.
If my Christmas bonus is nice, I’m adding an AR to my S&W 9mm. Shotgun will come next. Also need to allocate some range time.
i also prefer 00 buckshot over slugs.
Pump 12ga,
Glock 23
Bushmaster AR-15
There are dozens of equally valid choices.
Depends on which room of the house the three guns will be in...
I have 3 rooms with at least three guns...
It’s all a matter of taste...
OTOH, living somewhere else than MD might cause me to readjust the distribution and density...
Semi-auto handgun and pistol caliber carbine, both of the same caliber
AR-15 or Mini-14
For an urban guy living alone this set of three might seem unusual but I think it is very practical in a lot of scenarios, including neighborhood problems, looting situations, and even everyday living.
1. Your baby pistol in 380 or 9mm so that you always have something, whether gardening, wearing summer wear, or hanging out inside the house.
2. Your gunfight pistol like a large capacity 9mm for shoulder holster or side carry when you can wear it, or feel the need to carry it, even around the house.
3. Your AR-style rifle for break-ins or any large situation where you feel the need to keep your rifle with you because trouble is in the air.
Well crap.... all I have is a sling, wrist-rocket, and a crossbow. Guess I better get busy adding to the collection.
