Oh, I think they have far more than 1,000. The number may be closer to a million, and may be a gross underestimation. But a lot depends on what munitions they have access to.
Assume they will have semi-auto rifles. Assume they will coordinate. Assume the will hit soft targets- schools, hospitals, churches, sporting events….

While they were able to get “smart” terrorists to learn to fly planes, I think that it would be more likely for them to use small groups of armed thugs and/or bombs. It seems they go for the more visible and visceral in terrorism. Turning off the electricity? Meh. (And yes - I’m glad their IQ’s are low).

My 1,000 is per person. One person, under the cover of darkness and down communications could, if working with one end in mind of killing as many people as possible could probably kill 1,000. But you are right that the numbers could be worse, depending on how well they planned.

My church has already increased armed security and has instructed the congregation on how to respond if we are attacked.
In two states where a large chunk of the citizenry carries a gun.
As another poster said, several to a bunch of small teams of DC style snipers would cause a lot of chaos. But that is still too low-profile I think.
I’m going to quit posting on this thread. While I’m sure they have figured out all sorts of ways to terrorize us, I don’t need to give them any ideas.
