ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

How can people not be ashamed to publicly admit they are that stupid?

She can drive an EV to the island of Alaska. EVs can still fire off underwater.

Whales can swim around Alaska in about a month.

Come on now, can’t judge her too harshly. Canada doesn’t exist for most Americans, so with that assumption Alaska kind of is an island lol

To be fair, Alaska has never melted enough for people to be sure that it isn’t an island.

I am 77 years old. Yet I knew you could drive to Alaska in grade school.

That’s the problem. They quit teaching geography years ago in favor of some diluted pap called “social studies.” The ability to read a map and be familiar with the location and terrain of key nations is a powerful tool in understanding ongoing geopolitical activities.

by the “bridge to nowhere”.

That is in Little Rock Arkansas. The Bill Clinton Presidential Li(e)brary. It looks like an unfinished trailer house.

Lol I had this puzzle when I was a kid. I still remember my Dad taking the first one back to the store for an exchange because it didn’t have Kansas. Many years later I got a job in Kansas and lived there for a few years. I’m still in the same outfit, but in Indiana.

I can’t believe somebody calling herself a woman with a “boyfriend” actually thought Alaska was an island. Must be a Karen.

Back in the 1990s when I was working in the supermarket a young girl who worked with me insisted that Puerto Rico was part of Florida.

She's not wrong. It's part of Florida and part of New York.

...just like Boston is the capitol of Ireland - just ask them.
