Once the dam is busted how do you stop the water from flowing out?

Good. Theres no logic that more bodies always means “good”. Especially in areas where people are racked and stacked on top of each other and it artificially makes living there a lot more expensive for the average person.

Let the market decide? Actually, I would be in favor of that. But the market has been hijacked by the spirit of fascism. So it takes gumption and foresight and some other qualities to overcome the ways of the world.

If couples are not having children, nobody is going to stop them.

It’s called taxes. Raise the costs of children and people respond by not having them.

Depopulation can happen relatively quickly. It’s thought that China might only be 750 million people in 2100.

We are in no danger of going extinct as a species.

Even biblically, if you incline that way, we lose half. Thats still like 4-5 billion people left.

If every person was reponsible for themselves, you’d be correct. Our numbers would be irrelevant, but we’ve created a society that is dependent upon having children to fund the retirements of old age and we don’t have the children to do that.

Our children have failed us.

Printed, fiat money, controlled by central governments always leads to bloated debt, which benefits for governments and a few cronies, paid for by society as a whole.

Its created a system of economic serfdom. No serfs want to re-produce.

In other words, we've saddled the next generation with a huge debt to satisfy the social-engineering of marxists - and now they don't want to accept that debt? Imagine that.

You know, we used to live in a society that made it posible to support a wife and multiple kids. We also lived in a society where govt didn’t tax you for a lot of worthless crap and give it to illegals pouring in and welfare moms rewarding them for having kids out of wedlock. We used to live in a society where women couldn’t just leave a marriage for any reason and get cash and prizes on the way out.

Its not the same society that fostered and was a better environment for families. Your stztement has an assumptive foundation that isn’t correct now.

SubSaharan Africa is still growing with a robust fertility rate. Not like it was 30 years ago, but well above the rest of the world. The future looks black.

So I guess money really can’t buy love. And self-sacrificing love is what making and raising babies is all about.

My presumptive statement is that our culture used to encourage children to provide for the parents, but we’ve stopped doing that by raising the costs of children which has resulted in no children.

I wonder how the millions of U.S. women with mountains of "student loan debt" would react to learning that Uncle Sugar would suddenly allow them to "abkindern" what they owe?

("Abkindern" = separable transitive verb meaning "to diminish a debt by having children" - it was commonly practiced in East Germany.)

To be fair: That has been the norm throughout recorded history.

The elitists have created a world that nobody wants to bring children into and then whines that people aren’t having kids.

And the irony is, the left is busy with population reduction and thinks there are too many people already who are *ruining* the planet, and doing what they can to kill them off, and now they are complaining that nobody is having kids.

It would seem that the goal is not to actually reduce the population, but to have an endless supply of people to murder.

Hungary has been able to modestly increase its fertility rate from 1.2 in 2010 to 1.6 in 2022. The increase is not enough and Hungary will need to raise it that much again to reach a level that is roughly sustainable, but there has been undeniable progress made.

Plenty of widows in Ukraine. Bring in the ones with 3 kids for starters. They can replace the deported gang-bangers.

Americans need not have children! We can replace our people with illegal aliens. We need no population, we can use robots and Mercenaries to fight for us. Why have children? They cost too much, take valuable time from young adults having fun. But, we better watch out—As Rome discovered when the Germanic People moved in—in time they will take over and usher in a new Dark Age. This time it will be followers of Mohammed and Allah.
