Well, this has devolved nicely. I think I’ll be angry at this candle.
And flat out ethnic prejudice? Perhaps you should do a little checking to find out what he said about my wife. If you did, you would quickly drop the absurd "forgiveness" shtick. There is a time and place where that might be appropriate but NOT here.
BTW, I am now above reproach for anything I do because I went to the Tinker Bell School of Divinity which automatically raises me to a higher moral plain.
Point taken PJ.
It was sarcasm. I should have been more clear.
Humblegunner who? Bad me. Nice to hear aboit him.
Count yourself lucky that you haven't heard "aboit" him.
I certainly have no dog in this fight, but if you want to quote Jesus, you should probably use the one on how He told us to treat each other, not the one when He told someone how to treat Him.
Matthew 18:
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
BTW, what is the punishment for LYING about having gone to Divinity School in order to get cheap sympathy?
I didn’t bring the Bible into this.
God will determine punishment for the sin of HG, PJ and sam.
If you read the rest of Matthew 18, you can see how God reacts to people’s unwillingness to forgive.
Forgiving your brother isn’t about him as much as it is healing for you.
Please! Please forgive me for LYING about having gone to Divinity School! Please forgive me for calling other guy's wives "wh*res!"
Please! Please forgive me for LYING about having gone to Divinity School! Please forgive me for calling other guy’s wives “wh*res!”
I don’t think you did any of those things.
I will, however, forgive you for parading your victimhood around on an anonymous internet board.
Um... I don't think you know about the backstory here. Those who do know exactly what I am talking about.
I am well aware who HG is.
I am well aware of who you are.
I know what happened and have been following it since HG was kicked.
I’m sorry he said mean things to you.
I’ve seen plenty of mean things you have said.
The discourse on this site had markedly deteriorated since I first came here a couple of days ago.
That’s life. Get over it or get under it.

For your kind words I am giving you an early Christmas present. Good ham at an incredibly low price. It is a deal that even the big couponing websites seemed to have missed. Market Pantry Spiral Cut bone-in Ham which normally sells for $1.99/lb for just about 70 cents per pound. I did this deal a little while ago today and below you can see the just over 40 lbs of ham I picked up for a total of just $29.03.
If you don't already have the Target app, just download it. Then check the Target circle offer of $10 off $40 of food and drink. If you have the Target Red Card, even better because you get an additional 5% off.
When you go into Target you will see signs all over the food section saying $10 off $50. That's the offer they want you to use but your $10 off $40 is obviously an even better deal.
All you do is show the bar code on the app wallet and the computer does the rest at checkout. Namely take $10 off as well as %5 of the total if you have the Red Card.
You can see all that with a close look at my receipt on the bottom pic.
Most people (including me) find this Market Pantry ham to be too salty but NO PROBLEM. Just soak it in water in a large pot overnight. Every few hours drain out the salt water and refill. By 24 hours later, you should have great tasting ham with just about the right amount of salt.
Oh, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Thank you, and please have a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, joyful 2024!
p.s. The above spiral ham deal at Target is good at least until Tomorrow but it may go for another week.
.
Okay, the spiral cut ham has been soaking in water overnight and I took off a few slices this morning to fry up with my breakfast today to check the saltiness level. With Market Pantry spiral cut ham, it is waaaaaay too salty if you don’t soak in water first.
