Look at your link in post 99, do they get up to the 750 or so bases/installations that people talk about?

To get to that 750 number those people mean all kinds of little things that we would never think to call bases.

Not comprehensive, bizarre rambling.

I wouldn’t be surprised of the Kazakhs are on the wish list, too. If he is kept busy in Ukraine, however, the whole issue will be moot. Russians don’t like a quagmire any more than Americans do. Nor do they like their men-folk being chewed up and spat out pointlessly.

If Putin can’t win decisively enough to justify the meat grinders on his Western front, and the alienation between two closely related peoples, and the isolation of Russia and Russians from the rest of the world, and all he can offer as a result of this “special military operation” is an endless quagmire, Uzbeks can sleep soundly and so can Kazakhs, Tajiks, Armenians and Azerbaijanis and all the rest. He ain’t going near them.

It’ll take Ukraine decades to recover from this horror, and their infrastructure was pretty much for sh!t in the first place. But at least Putin will be over, and they’ll still have their own state and nation, which has been three or four bloody centuries in the making, if not more.

"Not comprehensive, bizarre rambling."

Admit it, you didn't even read it, because you can't accept any other points of view but your own. You're a weak person.

I didn’t read it because it is irrelevant to me on this thread.

The post is just you rambling about all sorts of things that bounce around in your head.

Another story in same publication:

US authorities returned 119 Uzbek nationals who illegally entered the country back to Uzbekistan, the UzReport TV reported, which met the arriving Uzbek citizens at the Tashkent airport. The footage was posted on the Telegram channel of the Agency for External Labor Migration.

Reportedly, most of them tried to get to the United States through Mexico.

One of those who arrived said that he went to the USA to earn money. Together with a friend, they wanted to get a job as loaders in a store and earn 10-12 thousand dollars a month.

The man said that he arrived in the United States on September 3 and since then he was detained for 110 days. He complained that he was “not given bread, because they don’t eat bread there very often, and the food is boiled, not fried.”

SOmehting got lost in translation....

how is that going to work exactly seeing as Russia does not have any contiguous borders with Uzbekistan? And I don’t see Kazakhstan caving so easily to Russia.

"I didn’t read it because it is irrelevant to me on this thread."

It's irrelevant to you because it points out the problems in this country that you don't seem to think are important enough, or you believe are being handled successfully, so we should focus on Ukraine. Why would you want to read it when it shows how wrong you are that Russia is a bigger threat to our domestic well-being than the craziness, and lawlessness that has been going on here for years.

You've obviously got blinders on, and don't want to believe this country is in peril from within, not from across the ocean. This country is the weakest it has ever been since it was founded, but you seem to think that everything going on here is less important than what's going on in Ukraine. Your priorities are really screwed up.

LOL!! Says the person that can’t be bothered to read them. I’d say you were the type of person who would go on Amazon, and give a book a bad rating, even though you never read it, but then I doubt you read any books at all. They’re just full of “ramblings” right?

There you go again imagining that someone is ignoring domestic politics and issues because there are also foreign issues.

The Biden gang has done much more damage to the USA than Putin. And "foreign issues" include Biden's shameless invitations to the whole world to violate our borders. Invitations that are being accepted and exploited. The Biden regime not only approves; it insists!

Notice that Putin did not invade Ukraine until after the 2020 "elections."

In my mind a person who visualizes 750 full-scale American military bases filling every nook and cranny of the world will realize that the reality may be a little different when they hear that Guam alone has 54 of those “bases”, Puerto Rico 34, Japan 120, Germany 119, South Korea has 73 of them Italy 44 and so on.

They may figure out that those pushing that propaganda are also listing small radar and surveillance installations, drone airfields, and even a few military cemeteries.

Looking at this list by a group that promotes this one sees that they list “bases” with as few as 2, or 5, or 3, or even zero personnel.
