There’s something not right about this story.......

That word ‘sometimes’ implies that this was not the first or only time. It doesn’t say ‘parents’, it says ‘friends’ whatever that means but regardless, how could they not know? A child is returned totally traumatized to them... and they give their children to this animal again?
