Blame maintenance and their inspectors.

This isn’t a Boeing issue, it’s a Maintenance issue! The 57 has been out for a while. Hell, the T-Brid is a 57. Gold plated faucets and everything.

The plane has to be something like 30 years old, so I doubt this one is Boeing’s fault

When you read the title of the thread, you know pesky facts like this won't matter.

It’s not a 37. It’s a 57. Says so right in the title of the article.

It doesn’t matter, you’ll never get that through to the brainlets that are just pointing the finger and blaming Boeing.

I thought the owner is supposed to pull maintaince on their aircraft or have done by government certified contractors.

Unionized American workers used to make excellent planes and cars and steel and appliances.

You can't blame low quality control solely on unions. Modern unions, like modern corporations and the military, have embraced DEI.

Don’t be stupid. The comment I was replying to was obviously about the 737 Max.

Well, the last 757 was produced 20 years ago. And I do not think Boeing is responsible for the last 20 years of maintenance. That is similar to blaming Ford for a wheel falling off of a Pinto. Just not realistic or appropriate.

Maintenance inspection is so easy a chimp can do it.

You just check all the boxes “yes” and collect your paycheck.

If anybody complains you just call them racist.

Diversity does not work. You cannot impose DEI and still have safety standards... any standards.
