I posted this under United Kingdom rather than Florida. I wish there were a way to correct mistakes.
Is it legal to shoot dogs ripping flesh off such a person?
Sad, but we live in a time that you shouldn’t be outdoors without that 38 snub tucked away. Especially if you are handicapped and in a wheelchair.
bkmk
Yes. But are you that worried about legalities when someone is being ripped apart?
The dog fancier community should end the pit bull breed.
The local FL report:
Why are these dogs still alive?
In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Horrifying moment two huge pit bulls named Boo-boo and Jumpety knock disabled man out of his wheelchair and savagely 'rip chunks out of him', ConservativeMind wrote: Is it legal to shoot dogs ripping flesh off such a person?
Yes. I say that because I've researched the pit bull 'thing' and while I saw complaints by owners that "You shot my boo boo," I've never seen them prevail. These dogs rip and eat chunks of flesh and victims quickly bleed out (die). I did post a thread to FR wherein a disabled vet was in his FENCED YARD pruning a tree and two pit bulls jumped his fence and ripped both of his arms off, causing him to bleed to death.
The owners said, as many prior pit bull owners said, "The got out. I opened the door to get the mail and they pushed past me out the front door...."
From there, the two dogs went hunting and pulled down the first human 'game' they found. Same with this thread - a disabled man posed no threat, but that actually encourages the dogs who hunt humans.
I remember a South Florida man shooting one of his pits in the yard, because it growled at his wife. A lot of yards with low chain link fence, two of more pits or pit mixes....
All pitbulls should be put down. No exceptions.
My brother and sister-in-law volunteer at a dog-shelter
Its “downtown” - so 90+% of the dogs in it are pit-bulls
Seems like owning pit-bulls and dumping them on the street for others to deal with is just another of the many forms of public welfare for blacks.
Even more, we live in a time when compassion for elderly victims of dog attacks is a lot more righteous than blaming the victim because he made the reasonable decision not to carry a pistol.
I hope they are dead now.
I’d wager that less than half of any firearms in Miami ‘burbs like Florida City and Leisure City are legally owned.
What a sorry state our country is in that this question even needs to be asked.
Same is true for every shelter.
This isn’t Wally and the Beaver’s neighborhood. And there are good reasons why every house has a couple of dogs you don’t want to mess with.
Pit bulls...
Moslems with 4 legs, but same viscous nature...
