The pyramids were not built with slave labor. Do your research. Even if the Bible is a recording of true events, nowhere in the Bible does it say Hebrew slaves built them.
What stupid writing. Tessa’s bio says she has a degree in creative writing. Well she sure used some of her creative writing skills in this article.
She says the original casing was comprised of 16 blocks and only 7 are left. 16 blocks? to cover the whole pyramid? And they’re going to rebuild it with the 7 blocks. What are they going to use? The granite block stretcher?
Taking the elevators in The Luxor is weird like Willie Wonka or something.

I forgot that Kelly, Manpower and Robert Half temporary employment had a role there and Indeed was only a papyrus runner’s message away.😀
We’ll have to respectfully disagree.
I believe the Bible——with my acceptance that only some is history and other parts are parable or allegories. I have subscribed to Biblical Archaeology Review since about 2010.
My favorite line from him was about the various precise laser like still sharp lines of obelisk symbols and the various carvings on blocks of stone that weigh tons
“I can’t accept these were accomplished by such things as sharpened chicken bones.”
I dunno
The Bible does mention Israelite slaves making bricks from mud and straw for Midgols
Who knows
Let’s argue ....
I appreciate the humor in your reply, but yes, we will respectfully disagree.
I respect your respect of my being respectful. Same to you, FRiend.
the Hebrew slaves (among others) the Egyptians held until the days of Moses and Joshua. Those buildings, statues and pyramids were built with slave labor including Hebrews and others.

Hebrew slavery (sic) was during the early part of New Kingdom. The Gaza complex was built a thousand years earlier in the Old Kingdom.
During the Old Kingdom an later, farmers would work on the Pharaohs building projects to feed their families - they were not slaves.
I’ve suffered enough.
As a poster on this topic.
Two words: vinyl siding.

i thought they called those “Inclinators” ...
I’m sorry. Its just history.
Thanks

Maybe so, but I don’t think the time frame fits. When most people say the Israelites built the pyramids they’re referring to the Giza pyramids, which is impossible cause they were built around 3000-2500 BC. And they were mostly granite blocks, not bricks.
And the Egyptians stopped building pyramids around 1500 BC. And I don’t know how many of those were built with bricks. I know some Mastabas were.
Isn’t the Exodus supposed to have happened around 1200 or 1100 BC? Even if they were enslaved for 400 years it would have been hard for them to have built any pyramids
...aims to reconstruct the outer casing of granite on the Pyramid of Menkaure’s four sides...
They should include an explanatory plaque letting everyone know that the damage to that one was caused by one of the caliphs.
The Pyramids have lasted quite a long time. Resting the outer casing would help to make it last quite a while longer and show us how the pyramid looked at the beginning. Thats my unqualified 2 cents.
Jesus told some of the stories because that was a way he could get uneducated people living during his time to understand his message.
If he was alive today, his message wouldn't be that much difference. We are not that much more educated than people who were alive during his time.
He is risen and very much alive. Just not on Earth right now.
