All the world is available to the human soul; what you do with that commerce is between you and the Lord... Fellowship with Him will guide you - and warn you. In years past I examined astrology, magic and mysticism... I would probably still have to describe myself as a 'Christian mystic'. Studying Scripture in the original languages - especially Hebrew - opens incredible vistas for contemplation - BUT, as I say, rely on the Holy Spirit to protect you from danger.
For example, I have posted my analysis of the spiritual meaning of Biblical numbers, which has proved helpful in studying Scripture; still, it is a bit oversimplified in places and can only be considered a guide.

All I can say about that is to be careful that you do not lay down stumbling blocks to needy souls to hinder them from discovering the truth that they need. I can fellowship with anyone who can accept the amazing sacrifice of Jesus Christ and his delivering power, his resurrection from the dead and sitting at the right hand of 'The Father' as advocate and judge.
I am cautious to move much beyond that if it might cause strife. It is not worth the disruption.
When the FIBers first raided MAL my thot was that they’re trying to find out what the Trumpster actually knows about their crooked, underhanded efforts to derail him. But remember DJT has at least a few friends in the right places. And remember it was Adm Mike Rogers, NSA at the time, who clued Trump in about being bugged at Trump Tower, etc. Trump shortly vacated to the golf course. And there’s no way he’s not smart/alert enough to safely bury everything he has to help with the Deep State Rodeo——It’s gonna be a round-up. If he can’t get it done with our help then the rest of us will have to pick up the slack.
As I’ve noted before: take names, keep track, especially in your own neighborhood.
Slightly aside but Judicial Watch is doing the Lord’s work cleaning up state voter rolls. They deserve all the help you can spare them.

I was unfamiliar with that ritual until now, though I do occasionally engage in a mild version of it on the golf course and at the bridge table. No blood is drawn unless I’m biting my tongue listening to a hopeless liberal, so I didn’t recognize it in your photo.
Good for you for getting out to play last week, and nice scoring! You must live somewhere temperate. I played four rounds last week too but had to travel far away to do it. I had 5 birdies in the 4 rounds but also took two 9’s on the same crazy-hard watery hole (*sigh*). I hadn’t played since September because my fiscal year-end is August 31 and I have to bear down near the end of September to get everything done and to the accountant by October 31. Then bridge travel starts. I have too many time-intensive hobbies. Something has to go and I think it should be work!
I hope you get to keep playing, stylin. My next rounds won’t be until Puerto Rico in April. I expect my own course will be open when I return.

self-flagellation - another ritual that Islam matches... or vice-verse
i live about 40 miles west of downtown Chicago (This area has been somewhat temperate for the last 25 years or so. The weather we used to get is now on the east side of lake michigan,)
and the course is about the same distance from chicago but south of me. my ride is 19 miles.
We played the course tees 2 in from the tips about 6000 yards. (tips play at 6800+ i usually play one in about 6500). depends on the course.
I’ll probably play 2 in or the senior tees from now on.
keep hittin ‘em hard...they’ll come down somewhere.
