So, they won't be scorched by their transit through the "high cosmic radiation levels" Van Allen belts?
Of course! If we can’t get astronauts through the Van Allen Belts and beyond without frying them, Klingons, Romulans, and Vulcans can’t get in!

Looks more like a donut.
It appears that if we launch North or South, we'd climb above the 'belt' quickly and be free of our magnet fields effect (s).

Yes, but all of the o-rings would freeze. Cape canaveral rarely gets cold. When it does there’s problems
