We’d all forget who we were and start claiming that we’d just spoken with Helmut Kohl and François Mitterrand?

The traditional Catholic still eats no meat every
Friday

The prices for fish are just as bad as meat, where I am. I guess a lot of traditional Catholics are eating salad...

Many follow no meat on all Fridays.

I don’t know if eating less meat is good or not. But I do know that Reader’s Digest made a shift to the woke side a few years ago. It was subtle, but there. Some evidence can be found in their recommended book lists.
And that’s when I chose not to renew my yearly subscription.
(Their decision - perhaps unavoidable - to start using cheap grayish paper was also a factor for me.)

How about everyone hold their breath 30 seconds, three times a day.

We actually do that but it is our choice.
I detest the framing of the headline. Everyone? That implies some nanny state enforcement mechanism to make everyone comply?

I used to read Readers Digest,Time, Life etc as a kid. I was voracious. Even then,I could sense bias and BS. Now these magazines like most are complete garbage, poorly written and agenda driven. I believe there’s only a handful of publishers left and they gobbled up most magazines into a leftist propaganda machine.

According to Keto and Carnivore diet proponents, we should all eat more meat and less of everything else, especially sugar, flour, carbs, seed oils and everything made from it, like bread, processed foods, fruits, veggies (with few exceptions).
Since WHO and many others are actively trying to sabotage meat production, and the last three years have taught me not to trust them, there must be something positive about meat that they want to block from us.
I'm seriously considering going full Carnivore.
There will be no "no meat" days for me.
