Biden passes on October 31st...Now what. And every republican who hasn’t voted should rush to the polling place and get the job done.

The RNC or DNC selects a replacement if the exodus occurs after the conventions. If time is left in the term, the VP moves up to finish that term. Kamala has announced that she “is ready.”

And if elected, the VP would start a four-year term on January 20.

Thanks.

Pritzker will not be the nominee.

In today’s world the candidate has to look presentable in front of cameras.

Fat old men like Pritzker and Christie will not win.

That’s just the way it is.

If the Republican candidate dies, they lose by forfeit to the Democrat.
If the Democrat candidate does, they nominate anybody want at the last minute and they win the election because it’s only fair.

Hubert Humphrey won the Dem nomination at the convention in ‘68 without running in any of the primaries.

Of course, it didn’t work out well for his party.

Yeah, Biden needs to hire a pudding taster.

Would Podesta consider this Spirit Cooking?

When voting for President/Vice President we are actually voting for electors who will go to the Electoral College and cast their votes. The electors are chosen by each political party that is on the ballot.

Wouldn’t Kamala rise the office if Biden is removed or quits PRIOR to the convention, also making Mike Johnson her VP?

LOL, not for nothing, but Christ Christie is Cary Grant compared to Pritzker! Harvey Weinstein, he’s another hideous, repulsive fellow. If that guy had ever made a pass at me I would have run screaming into 10 o’clock in the morning!

After the convention I don’t know. During the convention where the delegates can be declared open is the democrats best chance to change horses.

Rules for replacing candidate after convention are in Democrat “2024 Call for Convention”. National Committee executives consult Dem leaders in Congress and Dem governors and name their candidate which is then voted on by the whole 400+ National Committee.

Since there is nothing in the Constitution about “running”, “parties”, “conventions”, “voting for President”, I imagine it’s up to the State Legislatures who are supposed to be in charge of the process.

Thanks for the info. Pretty scary, but at the conversation isn’t much better, with all those super delagates.
