I seen All this Coming.
I couldn’t shoot it or sell it and dang sure wasn’t Regestering it !
So I moved then Shot it and SOLD IT!

Actually, murders were relatively rare in the “Wild West” since everyone carried.

Quite true, you were much safer in Dodge City or Tombstone in the 1870s and '80s than in New York City. Which is still the situation today.

The Kansas Constitution/Bill of Rights:

§ 4. Individual right to bear arms; armies. A person has the right to keep and bear arms for the defense of self, family, home and state, for lawful hunting and recreational use, and for any other lawful purpose; but standing armies, in time of peace, are dangerous to liberty, and shall not be tolerated, and the military shall be in strict subordination to the civil power.

There’s my right to own a firearm. I’m a bit surprised it’s down the list at fourth.
