Would Jesus or the Apostles want to spend a lot of time with many Christians in America today? That is a very important question because that’s what eternal life in Heaven is, life with Him. Being the Bride of Christ, the church’s relationship is compared to a marriage. With even the church today accepting so much worldliness, which is ungodliness, that actually results in frequent distance from Christ.

Even 2,000 years ago, Christ and the Apostles warned against worldliness. The worldliness that existed then pales in comparison to what exists now. That’s an enormous problem, but the Lord doesn’t forsake us. He will meet us in all problems, and give us what’s infinitely better than what the world has to offer.

And consider what Jesus said about needing to be more righteous than the leading scribes and Pharisees He was in conflict with.

“For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:20

The chief way of contending for the faith isn’t politics, even though in a democratic republic Christians can and should be involved. It’s seeking to please Him in all things and so grow closer to Him in fellowship. And doing that will create a light for others, many who even oppose godliness, to see the heavenly way of Christ. What pleases God is not saying, “I’ve passed God’s ‘tests’ for godliness, and that’s obvious because look at those terrible people over there that failed it and displease Him.” Instead, He desires us to say something more like, “As by the grace of God, my life grows more pleasing to the Lord, and He shows me the evidence of that, how does He want me to help others, first even to see the need to please Him and be reconciled to Him, and then in how to follow Him to do so?”

"Christian nationalism" is a leftist generated term. The Christian religion is a universal faith, for people of all nations who accept the free gift of salvation. Christ came to save people not countries. Nationalism was a key element in fascist ideology. However, nationalism in its proper sense is synonymous with patriotism. By using the term, Christian nationalism, leftist propagandists want to raise the specter of Hitler, Mussolini, and Franco and movies and TV shows that project a repressive society based on religion.

The Left has think tanks like the Tavistock Institute and the New School for Social Research that generate language to allow them to control people's perceptions. Don't use their terms. Even the term, racism, was promoted by Leon Trotsky.
