It’s one of the few scenarios that make sense to me.

That is what I would like to see, of William and Kate in the public eye.
They’re disappearing her for a lengthy period of time - they do not want her seen physically. They say nothing, lie then post doctored photos.
There must be something that’s obvious about her physical appearance they’re hiding, for months now. A pregnancy is just a possibility... but a possibility nonetheless.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have just gotten a downgrade on the British royal family website.
Before today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had individual bios on the site, royal.uk, like the rest of the family members. But now, their bios have been joined together, under the section for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Plus, the intro to the section now reads: “As announced in January 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped back as working members of the Royal Family. The couple married in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor on 19 May 2018 and have two children: Prince Archie of Sussex and Princess Lilibet of Sussex.”
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s bios have also been removed from the family homepage.
