Young people are taught that the Constitution established slavery, patriarchy, and white supremacy. No surprise that so many Americans have no respect for the Constitution. Why honor rules designed to perpetuate racism, sexism, economic inequality, etc.
The Argentines are the only ones who disinfected themselves from Communism, and that required not only killing the Tupamaro guerrillas but their families, their teachers and their teachers’ families, etc., anyone even remotely associated with the Communists was hunted down and killed.

I think it is likely that we will end up a EU-style bureaucratic, quasi-socialist, semi-police state, run by a WEF-style oligarchy, where the former “several States” are reduced to mere administrative units. Elections will be a formality because we will be de facto a one party country. It will still be called “the United States,” but America will be a thing of the past. We are most of the way there now.
To save the Republic, you need a Franco, or a Pinochet. Call it fascism if you want.

The big difference between now and 1775 and that institutions like the colonial legislatures, trade associations, militias, etc., were available to prove organized opposition. The states were supposed to provide that. But many of them are already one-party dictatorships like California and the rest are hypertrophied by fentanyl-like Federal payments, programs and big business interests that are part of the corrupt ruling class.
I say Trump is a choirboy because he better have plan B to deal with a mutinous, seditious Federal bureaucracy (including most of the military brass). So he needs to act quickly to regain control of the military and, if necessary, be ready to use MPs to arrest the criminals at DOJ, FBI, CIA, etc., that conducted sedition against him in the first term. This includes being willing to tell off the judiciary to deport illegals and pursue the previously mentioned criminals. If necessary, have them put before military tribunals for treason and then shot.

Twenty-four defendants were sentenced to death at Nuremberg. If it became necessary to conduct such a trial here, I doubt that FJB would be declared the Fuhrer because there’s tacit agreement around the world that he’s only an Obama puppet and simply too stupid and senile to orchestrate a coup. However, there are probably at least 24 other defendants who would rightfully be executed along with him for such an attempt.
My prediction. If Trump wins (I doubt it), he’ll be a lame duck immediately. Then Gavin Newsom will become President four years later.
