I’ve always thought that a good way to get your point across and get people on your side is to block their ability and access to go about their daily business - get to work, pick up their kids on time, get to doctor’s appointments, make flights.
I’m sure those who missed their flights were sympathetic to whatever plight was being protested.
Pretty sure you just leave your car in D and idle forward. I seriously doubt these asswipes are willing to get run over for their supposed cause...

My daughter flies in and out of that airport for business several times a month. LORD, protect her, along with the other passengers, as they go about their business, in Jesus Name, amen.
This kind of crap - blocking free passage of travelers - does NOT make me sympathetic to their cause, or any other cause; it pisses me off and makes me even more antithetical to their message, whatever it may be.
They can all go to hell.
