Yeah, that's what the voters want, Elias, Ike and Bush 41.

“Ruining” means “ruining it for the Democrat Party”

We need a headline that reads...

Tea Party spawns GOP nightmare: How it’s already RUNNING the party’s ’16 strategy

The "we don't want to talk about that" crap is the problem.

They want to put in their time, take the money, go to the cocktail parties, and retire rich.

Heaven forbid that they ever have to become controversial!

It is long past time to have a “discussion I didn’t want to have.” Too many years. Too many cowards.

We need bold leadership if the Republic is to survive.

LOL, I’d like to know what the GOP strategy was other than “run some RINO squish that will handily lose to the liberal democrat.”

troublemakers like Paul, Cruz and Mike Huckabee

CommonCore Huckabee is no conservative, and would never get my vote. Of course, I could say the same thing about Rand Paul and Marc Rubio. In fact I will.

Symbolic and envelope-pushing measures intended to inspire a big fight over the right to choose is the kind of stuff that thrills the Tea Party,

I don't know of any TEA Party groups that are involved with the abortion issue. It's supposed to be about restoring fiscal sanity. The idea was to attract people who support that regardless of other issues. That means most of the people in it are conservatives, and most are probably pro-life, but it's not the agenda of TEA Party groups.

I’m glad the tea Party is ruining the GOP E and Democrats strategy.

Those who lack the ability to articulate American values--not slogans, but the reasons behind American values;--and to articulate what the Constitution actually authorizes and what it does not; are those, who have ruined the party's popular achievements under Reagan.

The problem is that most of the so-called "establishment" Republicans lack courage & common sense; but they are not really very bright even in trying to explain the few things they are willing to admit standing up for.

Pathetic dweebs.

It worked so well in 2012...an election that should have been a slam dunk. Instead these idiots got dunked on. But hey, let’s do it again. It’s bound to work this time against the Clintons.

Exactly! What has the GOP strategy been? I have no idea and I've been glued
to the screen for years trying to find out.

The GOP doesn't have a freaking strategy, and complains when somebody does?
The Adults are being voted in, GOP. Get your butts in gear or be "left" behind.

only one senator, Mississippi’s Roger Wicker, felt compelled to disagree with the contention that the Earth’s climate is warming

I thought the vote was about climate change, not "warming".

“GOP elites want Americans to think the party’s boring and safe again.”

Boring and safe doesn’t win elections.
