British journalists use up a lot of ink discussing who was “the greatest prime minister we never had.” It’s like rating presidents: it gives journalists a chance to rehash all the history they learned in school or on the job. So it’s natural that Piers Morgan would try something like this — even though he doesn’t know enough about American history to give a real answer to the question.
