You can accuse a libertarian of patriotism but you’ll rarely have enough evidence to convict one.
Still, there's just something odd about this bill, the timing of it, and the name.
Just a sign that we are driven more by personalities than by principles.

The point is moot, there will never be another draft, it would simply be impossible even if we were invaded by another nation. Can you really picture these “special snowflake” social justice warrior millenials who are so hurt by an inconsiderate word that they need to go to their safe space actually showing up in a draft?!? Not only would they be burning their draft cards in the street, their enabling helicopter parents would be marching right beside them.
Bet Ali didn’t have a problem with all of the wars we fought on behalf of the Saudis.
I don’t disagree with dropping the draft. But I do love the look of fear on the snowflakes face when they have to register. So,perhaps we should keep the process going just for our amusement.
