Trump announced the U.S. will withdraw from the climate change agreement nearly 190 countries joined in Paris in 2015, making America one of only three nations to ignore the pact.

Obama had zero right to enjoin us into an obligation without senate ratification.

The constitution worked again.

Please Greens, get fired up. You might even get to 20% in elections - leaving the Republicans to beat the Democrats 51-29.

I want a Constitutions amendment that reads:

"Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is not a pollutant, it is a vital nutrient required to sustain life on planet earth, and congress shall pass no laws restricting the production of CO2 resulting from the oxidization of fossil/mineral hydrocarbon fuels."

Article V anyone?

Trump could have simply passed the treaty to the Senate where it would have been immediately swatted down.

I'm not as confident of that as many are.

Yes, Kyoto was slapped down almost unanimously, but how long ago was that? 15 years?

Only 22 Republican Senators signed the letter to Trump to withdraw, and I would be willing to bet that every Democrat Senator would now vote to ratify.

They would do it to spite Trump and the "deniers" and they will also do everything they can to try to preserve Obama's pathetic legacy.

Throw in Murkowsky and Collins and and the 15-20 Republican squishes and that puts it too damn close to the 2/3 required to even take that chance..

At the very least they’ll be able to blame Trump when the world begins to melt a thousand years from now.

‘”Trump could have simply passed the treaty to the Senate where it would have been immediately swatted down”

I must disagree. I think it would get the 67 votes. The pressure and money would have overwhelming. I bet there are 60 votes for it right now they would only have to get about 7 votes. I am just ecstatic Trump kept his promise and l am sorry l doubted him. In so doing has put a solid lock on his base. He resisted pressure from inside and out and l commend him for it. MAGA

The Greens are directly tied to Vladimir Putin and “the Russians”:

The unprecedented agreement ― a pillar of former President Barack Obama’s legacy... --- ... has collapsed like a fake styrofoam column.

.....and Obama signed the US in to the "Paris Accord" exactly how many months/years ago?

If Obama signed anything one week before he moved out of themWhite House, the left acts as though it was part of the Framers' desire!

PS: those of you in Tenn who have the power to do so, please, please, please send Bob Corker packing (impeach him if possible, primary him at all costs or tar and feather him as the last resort!)

They are. That’s why TRUMP’S pullout is causing so much panic & turmoil. GLOBALISTS cannot implement their plans without U.S. taxpayer $$$$. We are their cash cow.

PRESIDENT TRUMP is draining the global swamp by Making AMERICA Great Again.

Same here. I was really sweating this one out, especially as he had inside pressure. This a.m. I am enjoying schadenfreude with my coffee, reading about all the liberal's hand-wringing.
