It will be difficult for the maniacs to oppose him. One thing in Huntsman's favor is that he and Romney cannot stand each other.
Huntsman is a backstabbing POS, whose "qualifications" to be Ambassador to Russia, for this president, are questionable in the extreme.
And FYI...they do far more than go to dinners, throw them, and give a speech here and there.

Actually I hear one of the reasons is because Huntsman may be the only one to get Senate Confirmation. If Trump picks someone who has a wiff of Russia then they will be voted down.....McCain and others will see to it. Huntsman might be the only option.

Trump criticized this guy on Twitter at one time for how he said that he sold this country to China. Trump complained China was ripping us off - who was the ambassador?
Why does he keep picking swamp people and not people who are fully aligned with his agenda? He is literally fighting the entire Washington and media establishment including his own party. Why not pick people who are in line with what he ran on? The media will never like him. The establishment will never like him.
He ran on better relations with Russia, and yet I don’t see it coming from this because the media LIKED this pick. When the media likes a pick, it’s no good. Why not pick Rohrabacher? He wants better relations with Russia and would have loved the job.
