Might sound admirable to some, but what he means is he believes such talk will frighten prospective Dem voters.
It is naïve to think the Dems will abandon their effort to defeat Trump. That may be the only way a great many of their principal players stay out of jail. If they take both chambers they only need to coerce, compromise or buy off a handful of Rino's.

It’s apparent that a few weeks ago the notion of impeaching president Trump tested very poorly in some Democrat focus groups. If I looked back over the headlines I could probably pinpoint to within two days when this happened. Suddenly no Democrat who was running for office would say anything about impeachment.
If heaven forbid these commies take power the first thing they do will be to impeach our president. They just know not to admit it for now.

If the American people are stupid enough (or if enough Hispanic and Black voters turn out) to flip Congress, then Articles of Impeachment will be introduced and passed within weeks.

All of the Democrats in the House will be for impeachment though some may deny it now.
