After the Dems steal the Senate, they will control everything. Impeach, Trump, Pense, Clarence Thomas, and Kavanaugh...Pelosi could become POTUS and she will put in whoever they want to replace Thomas and Kavanaugh...
If Trump doesn’t act quickly and allows this crap to continue, she’s right.
What I understand is that they are actively, not for show, supplementing the SS and Military Intelligence is working directly with the SS. And they are not in uniform.

She is supposedly very effective in that role in an internal sense, though I have no idea how much brain she has left and how much that would be a matter of her staff handling things.

The Secret Service, of course, and the US Marshals. A battalion of the 82nd Airborne is always on the tarmac ready to go at a moments notice and could be there within hours. There are other 82nd and 101st, as well as special forces assets that could be there pretty quickly. The Old Guard is nearby and they are a regular infantry regiment as well as being ceremonial. Other units from the military district of Washington, including all five branches of the armed forces are stationed in or near the capitol, including the many thousands stationed at the Pentagon. I don’t know how many of them are assigned weapons. Norfolk, Virginia, home to thousands of sailors and Marines, is not terribly far. DC, Maryland and Virginia National Guardsman would be available. Then there are the Gatling guns and mchine guns at the White House.
