Any poll of registered voters is worthless. The poll has to be of likely voters to mean anything at all.
Biden was still relatively sharp as of 2012 when he debated Paul Ryan, but 7 years is a long time.

In the final four Florida polls to be released, Hillary Clinton is ahead in two, Donald Trump is ahead in one, and one other is tied.
FiveThirtyEight currently forecasts that Hillary Clinton has a 55.1 percent chance of winning Florida. These odds are better than Barack Obama’s in 2012, as four years ago, FiveThirtyEight gave the president a 50.3 percent chance of taking Florida.

Why, Joe Biden has been sent over from Central Casting as the most highly polished example of what the Democrat Presidential candidate should look like. Well-seasoned, a grandfatherly profile, jovial smile, and an “aw-shucks” demeanor that plays well with many demographics. Whether it is a large enough portion of the demographics is something altogether unexplored at this point by the puppet masters of the Democrat Socialist party, who seem to have a much different aspect they want to promote.
Balsa wood, while light and reasonably pliable, is not what is needed for Presidential timber. And underneath that exterior, Joe Biden is pretty well framed up with that balsa wood.
His own party will chew sleepy creepy slow Joe up long before the nomination is wrapped up. The world has moved on, Joe.

Gosh. Why not put Biden up 20 to 30 points like in the good old days? Pollsters a little bit guarded perhaps after 2016 so fresh in people’s minds?
