I work at a school in the FTAA orange security zone..next to the red zone. We're on alert to vacate if things get wild.
A bomb squad went thru our school Friday because two kids have been implicated working with hard core anarchists (black block) from another state. Yesterday, the police came to take a statement from me about the kids. They also took computers from the school. Talk is that they were planning to blow up the school as part of a diversion.
I just can't wait for next week. /sarcasm

If you Google "indymedia FTAA" there's tons of links to what they are planning. It's truly scary how many sites the anarchists have up.
http://www.ftaaimc.org/en/index.shtml is another source.

The neo-communists make their debut.

This takes money. Where do these haters of everything American get it? From the Ford Foundation and other "progressive" American foundations,
the governments of Canada and Europe. Each donor with their reasons, either political or commercial, wants to secretly challenge Washington.

It's sedition for the US citizens involved in this and I absolutely agree, they should be jailed -- they are taking money from foreign governments to undermine the US. It's also an attack by foreign governments, who should be put on the enemy's list and treated accordingly.
When a foreign government's intent is to destroy us, that is war, even if they try to do it by somewhat more devious means, of using seditious US citizens to do it.

Non-violent hippies are one thing, but violent street thugs should be, eh I'm looking for the right word...neutralized.
Anarchy isn't a constitutional right.

It's the unemployed middle-classes who should be against Free Traitors, not these addled wanna be anarchists.

These protests have nothing to do with trade policy, although the "useful idiots" whom the anti-capitalists send to them may believe so. It's about agitation and disruption, to weaken the infrastructure and institutions of the capitalist West.

You have that right, my son, but the commie turn out has been less than optimal lately.
The IAC trash on IACBoston.Org are claiming 100K showed up in DC at the Last FReep, FReepers that were there said less than 10, who do you believe? There hasn't been more than 5-7K in Boston even on 3/29. There is a wind a blowin' and that wind is FREEDOM.

These groups' travel has been paid, food and housing arranged, legal-aid teams provided and "jail solidarity" -- that means massive noncooperation with the jail staff -- prepared. Sounds like somebody needs to pursue a RICO case against these people and their financial backers. If they can use it against the Right to Life movement, we can damned sure use it against these pinheads.

"The Miami police are not as tolerant (or as ill-prepared) as those in, say, Seattle."
Quite right, and Miami police did invent the "McDuffy stick". The antics of the socialist zanies may prove more fun to watch than anything in a circus.

Pull the string on the funding for just about any anti-American, leftist group and you'll eventually reel in the Ford Foundation and the other "progressive" foundations.

The Miami police just need a bunch of wagons and an arraignment assembly line ready. Let some people book some OT; they usually don't mind if there's an interesting reason for it. Then pick up the goofballs for littering if they throw a butt on the ground, or for any city ordinance violation, and hold them in cells until the meeting is over. The key is to get as many as possible into cells early. In fact, they could set up breathalizer roadblocks on every road coming into Miami - - maybe dispose of some of the debris before they even get there. And for the rest of them, lots and lots of tear gas.
