"We have three choices: a slow route to privatization..."

That will not happen, my friend. We will be stuck with the tremendous social spending of this bill, and nothing else.

And if you dare express any disappointment, prepare to be jumped on by day-old Republicans telling you how glorious it all really is.

I've seen this happen once before....no make that twice.....no make that 27 times. But, if we will only stay with them.....

Well, you're saying that you're just going to roll over and let the Democrats come up with something much worse, enact it into law, and then throw a hissy-fit about that.

Sam Adams summed it up best:

We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Oh! Is that what I'm saying?

Socialism is upon us, and you prefer we stay quiet about it. Why?

George Washington said it best:
"Government is not reason; it is not eloquence. It is force.
Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearsome master"

And you are in favor of the largest government increase since FDR. What a tool. What a gutless socialist(or is that redundant?).

I prefer that you either do something useful, or that you STFU. Waste my time, and I will tell you to STFU.

Since you dislike the current strategy, please tell us your master strategy that accomplishes the intended goal of privatizing Medicare.

Actually, the best tools and most gutless socialists are the whiny crybabies who never provide a workable strategy to accomplish their goals...gutless socialist tool.

Let me sum this up so that I will have a reference point to come back to tomorrow.

I believe our politicians are lieing to us, that government will continue to grow, and that our liberties will continue to shrink.

You believe I have no basis for my beliefs, that history should be ignored in favor of a politicians words, and that history should not consider me your countryman.

Meet you back here.

Who can still possibly believe the US defeated communism after they here about this bill?

Reagan forced the Bolshevik version of Communism to blink, when he modernized the U.S. armed forces. But the domestic theorists, overflowing the faculties of major American Universities and Colleges--those who since the 1930s, at least, have considered egalitarian collectivism, the redistribution of the fruits of other people's labor, and central planning, directed towards a levelling of human achievement, etc., as idealistic pursuits--have scarcely missed a heart-beat in their pursuit of a communistic ideal.

No one who really understands what is required, if we are ever to really win the fight for the minds of our own youth, can be ambivalent over this Medicare Bill. It is a major set back for the cause. (See Panacea Or Death Potion?, for the economic aspects.)

For the second time:

Since you dislike the current strategy, please tell us your master strategy that accomplishes the intended goal of privatizing Medicare.

Why must the "intended goal" be privatizing Medicare?

If this "intended goal" is not reached, will you be disappointed? If so, would you dare breath a word of disappointment to your Republican brethren?

As for a "master strategy", well I'm blushing. I didn't get the impression you thought so highly of me.

It would be just grand if the great many true conservatives, those not prone to simply following the herd, would ditch the Republican party that has abandoned them, and fill Congress with genuine conservatives.
