Very sorry to hear that Dear Abby has turned to conventional wisdom. Her advise used to be pretty good. Not trusting parents/authorities to do the right thing is a symptom of bad counsel. When in trouble, run to the authorities, and parents are at the top of the list. If no one else cares for you, they should.
Abortion is a bad deal for everyone involved. It's a bad deal spiritually, phyisically and relationally. Spiritually one has to cover up with more fig leaves that don't help. Physically a woman may not be able to have children or have increased chances for cancer. Relationally, the childs father splits after the abortion leaving a devistated young woman with emotional scars for life.
The forgiveness in Christ's blood can take away the guilt, but those who recommend abortion have the blood of the innnocents on their hands and I wouldn't want to be in their place explaining to God why they helped get rid of ones whom God knew in the womb.
The good news is that she is using old rhetoric and that it doesn't work the way it used to. Our young people are skeptical of the old rhetoric and do not like abortion at all. Pray that the tide continues to turn and that repentance may pour down from heaven on our land once more.

Sanger didn't like Italians? It went far beyond dislike. Sanger was a full blown bigot. And I mean that in the true sense of the word not the "someone got their little feelings hurt" sense of the word.
Blacks, Jews, American Indians, Catholics, poor whites, didn't matter, she wanted them removed from the gene pool.

I wonder if an undercover sting/expose' has ever been attempted. I was just thinking about the same thing. I thought it would be even more interesting to have an older woman who looks like a scared teen go in undercover, say she's scared, what should she do. Maybe that's she's thinking of keeping the baby, but it worried about her parents' reaction, etc. and see how PP reacts.

I stopped reading Anne/Abby a few years ago when she advised a mother that her young teenage son "had the right" to have a collage of pictures of naked women on the wall in his room. A collage that his girlfriend had made him. After all, it was HIS room, she said. I almost projectile vomited on the newspaper.

Sanger was in every regard a racist, bigot and xenophobe. Somehow that's been forgoteen because of the value of abortion to today's left. Interestingly, Jews also were not acceptable to Ms. Sanger but I guess the latter day Dar Abby, herself from a Jewish background, isn't aware of that.
