Very very interesting. For the first time, I am considering that he maybe didn't do it. But there are unanswered questions.

What about the police photography of his penis, that was supposedly identifiable by that boy?

That is the first time I have read the whole story set out in any sequence. It clears up a lot of questions for me. However, I never believed Michael to be a preditor or an abuser and always thought his wealth and peculiarities made him vulnerable. I have always liked him and his music. I think the lack of a childhood and all that goes with it has left him emotionally stunted, but not made him a threat to children.

I know that Reuter's News Service published a story on January 27, 2004 were they reported that the description given by the boy did not match the photos of Jackson's genitalia. The story however, came after the case was settled and received little or no attention.

I recall the story, I followed that case closely back then, and I came up with the date from another website, but I haven't come up with a direct link to Reuter's archives.

And you are attacking an individual that you have never met, have never had any sort of contact with, and calling him a "boy lover" based on what the media has fed you, and some issues you seem to have with the idea of children sharing beds with adults.

I wouldn't defend Jackson (but he strikes me more as an asexual than a child rapist) ----- but what is going on with parents who allow their children to spend the night with him? I could see how Jackson could easily be getting set up ---- but then again, he's pretty dumb to have sleepovers after already being accused of child molestation.

I think Jackson really has it in his head that he's Peter Pan ---- and Peter Pan was a permanent child and wasn't sexual. He is a freak though --- but so are the parents who pimp their kids and now demand payment.

It is highly naive to equate a flesh and blood human being with a fictional character. I have no doubt that Michael Jackson tells himself and others all kinds of sweet fairytales about his intentions towards children. I also have no doubt that, unlike Peter Pan, Michael Jackson is a sexual being with sexual needs that require expression. His actions indicate that he expresses his sexual needs by placing children in the place where almost all adults express themselves sexually -- i.e., the bed.

One of the hallmarks of a perceptive conservative is the ability to pierce the fluff, bullshit and pettifoggery that handholders and Kumbaya types use to describe the human condition and to find the real in an ocean of fantasy and wishful thinking. Peter Pan is a fantasy. Human sexuality and its unfortunate and destructive perversion in some persons are very, very real.

By the way, had you bothered to actually read past the title, you would have realized that this article has nothing to do with the current case.

I think it's clear that Michael has mental health problems... But that doesn't automatically mean he's guilty of the charges. I don't know if he's guilty or not, but he definitely is an easy target. As someone else said, whether he did it or not, he is guilty of stupidity - leaving himself open to the possiblity of false charges, by having sleepovers, etc.

Anyway, like I said, I think he's one fry short of a happy meal, and the whole thing is very sad.... but we're supposed to be innocent until proven guilty in this country, so let's keep that in mind.

There was one lady who worked for the boy's lawyer in the 93 incident on MSNBC who said that the father and boy were excited about a movie idea they were working on except they didn't have the money then the allegations popped up. She called it a shakedown.

The kid at the center of the Michael Jackson sex case allegedly tried to steal clothes from a California store on orders from his father when he was just 8, court records reveal.

The shoplifting turned violent when security guards grabbed the boy and his mother fought them, the papers said. They were arrested and charged with burglary.

A police report on the Aug. 27, 1998, incident said security guards caught up with the boy in the parking lot, where they wound up fighting with the boy and his parents. His mother was handcuffed.

The troubled family then sued the JCPenney store in West Covina, about 30 miles east of Los Angeles, alleging they were severely beaten and falsely arrested. In the suit, the family claimed the boy suffered a "sprained arm, nightmares and emotional distress."

The suit also claimed that a younger son, who was 7 at the time, was bruised on the forehead, causing "headaches and emotional distress."

As part of the settlement, charges against the family were dropped. The family

collected $200,000, but the couple divorced a short time later after bickering over the money.

Other police reports involving the family allege the father once kept his daughter, now 15, prisoner in his car for 2-1/2 hours and threatened to "kill your mom and your whole family." The teen told cops the incident happened outside her school on Nov. 13, 2001.

In a bizarre statement after the mother filed assault charges against the father, she assured police that Michael Jackson, local weatherman Fritz Coleman and basketball star Kobe Bryant "would assist her with this incident."
