One measley Volcanic Eruption would spew enough carbon into the upper atmosphere that would equal all the Diesel engine emissions since the first day they were invented.

Not to mention that during the 1500s to the early 1900s, more coal was burned and carbon added to the air than this "Dire Diesel Dilemma" could possibly equal.

Who are these JUNK YARD-SCIENTISTS anyway?

Dunno who they are.
But I do wish they'd stop grasping at straws and do honest work.
But it seems they're more interested in political ideology rather than honest scientific study.
I'm no scientist mind you, I was a soldier and do prefer that to the political squabbling in NY state, but even I know that mankind's contribution of carbon and carbon based 'waste products' are miniscule compared to what Mount Etna and the Hawaiian Island volcano chain put out in one year let alone one day.
It's easier for them to go after diesels sinc they have visible particles at times, the stupid "Black SMoker" laws in NYC for example, and it's politically expedient as well.
How many people can honestly say they aren't negatively influenced by the odor of diesel exhaust?
That's their apparent target market.

This Earth has survived periods where so many volcanoes erupted at once, that it it may have caused mass biological extinctions. It has also survived many Ice Ages, Floods, Fires and Earth Quakes far greater than anything recorded in mankind's history.

Do they believe that we have the strength or ability to destroy this planet, when events several million times more devastating could not? Their audacity is amazing!

Some would call it genetic arrogance, but mankind has displayed that quite often over the years.
The last world war showed how it can run amok as a political viewpoint.

As far as volcanic eruptions go, they have been shown to alter weather, where man has not been conclusively shown to be able to do a dent in anything.
Heck, Yellowstone National Park sits in a 1000 foot caldera from what can only be termed a 'supervolcano' that covered the western US from where it erupted to the Mississippi in a half foot or more of ash.
Mankind couldn't ever do that ever.

OK Dammit!

Is it soot or is it CO2 ?

Make up your minds.

Whatever these morons say it is going to cost big bucks, but we are tired of being told to pay up to recuce something that isn't even the culprit.

When NASA figures out how to reduce the solar output they will fix global warming...

Yellow snow used to be a potential problem when I was a kid in the 50's. And, I've heard it said, that in the 30's, there was so much soot in the air over St. Louis, from thousands of home coal fires in the winter, that street lights had to be turned on in the afternoon. And the snow turned black from the d*mned soot. During the 30's, my grannies, in KC, had to hang their laundry in the basement to dry because it would get too dirty drying outside in the winter because of the soot from home coal fires. And here we are today, enjoying clean snow while we burn natural gas instead of coal. What a crock of sh*t folks try to feed us.
