If you try to call up the "Rush" member page it says nobody by that name exists so maybe the admin just has that one set aside to protect Rush from having someone post under his name and that allows someone to post to that screename w/out there actually being a "rush" member.

I would say that most most broadcast weeks from Rush contain at least 1 mention of FR. So we should stop freaking out like excited schoolgirls about it at this point.

There are a number of freepers that would love to see Rush go down in flames -- Howlin and Old Friend are just two of them. They cut down Rush any chance they can. Old Friend actually said Rush wouldn't have a radio show if he didn't go to FR first. This is pure Bulls**t and she knows it. I for one trust Rush and am willing to wait until he is able to talk freely about what is going on. If intelligent people on FR cannot see that this is a political persecution lead by the Clintons then they are not near as intelligent as I gave them credit for. Unless of course they despise Rush for some reason they cannot explain or are unwilling to do so.

Class envy. From my experience, most "Rush haters" around here are simply jealous of his fame and fortune. In fact, they loathe most anyone with money, so I don't believe it's anything personal with Rush. That is why "they cannot explain or are unwilling to do so". They don't even want to admit the reason to themselves, much less admit it to anyone else.

I've always been a huge Rush fan. Having spent over a dozen years in his industry, I have an idea of what a unique talent he has and is. The fact that he has done so well for so long only confirms it. I also realize that Rush is a HUMAN BEING. He is not perfect. Yes, I'm disappointed in him and FOR him because of what's happened, but since I don't expect perfection from any human I'm not often shocked by any particular human's actions.

I do want the law consistenly applied, including in Rush's case. I don't believe he should be given a pass because of who he is, nor should he be targeted because of who he is. Whatever happens to him legally, I hope that once it is over, he will make positive use of this whole experience. Once he can speak freely on the subject, I hope he will speak to the dangers of drug dependency and addiction, and whatever else might be useful to others.

Overall, I think my attitude toward Rush is similar to that of Rush's toward Bush. I'm very glad he's there, and believe he wants to do the right thing. When he does it, I will praise him accordingly. When he doesn't, I will point out disagreement and hope that his conservative principles will guide him.
